Bogbain Farm
This activity centre offers a range of pursuits, including quad biking, clay pigeon shooting, archery, paintball, in and outdoor play areas, an arts and craft studio, digger driving and even traditional music sessions. Afterwards, you can treat yourself to some homemade soup, the best in Highland farm produce, and tea and scones.
Jacobite Steam Train
The Jacobite is an essential part of every West Highland holiday. It is regarded as one of the Great Railway Journeys of the World and was voted Top Railway Journey in the World 2009 by Wanderlust Magazine. Harry Potter fans will also recognise the train as the “Hogwarts Express” from the film series. The 84 mile round trip on the Jacobite Steam Train will take you past Britain’s highest mountain, deepest loch, shortest river and most westerly station. Quite a journey indeed!
Highland Wildlife Park
Experience Scottish wildlife as well as international endangered animals in the spectacular setting of the Highland Wildlife Park. Drive around the main reserve in your own car and then investigate the walk-round area by foot. Don’t forget to look out for our three Amur tiger cubs, Vladimir, Natalia and Dominika, and the Bactrian camels!
Landmark Forest Adventure Park
Landmark offers a host of adventurous and fun activities for all. Flagship rides include the Runaway Timber Train rollercoaster and Wild Watercoaster three flume raft ride, as well as its Wild Forest Maze and Red Squirrel Nature and Treetop Trail.
Fired Art Ceramic Cafe
This quirky cafe in Fort William features a pottery painting studio where the kids can make and paint their own ceramic creations, and also houses an art gallery.
