Glengarry Area

Here red deer roam freely, golden eagles soar and sea eagles are occasional visitors.

Red Deer Safari

Look for the herds of red deer which roam the hills.You could see some interesting winter migrants around, such as goldeneye ducks and whooper swans.

Loch Garry Bird Life

Designated a Special Protection Area due to its breeding populations of black throated diver and common scoter, two of Britian’s rarest birds. Widgeon and pochard are also regularly sighted.

Loch Lochy and Loch Arkaig

Osprey and sea eagles have bred successfully here. The Allt Mhuic nature reserve is a stronghold of the chequered skipper butterfly, one of the UK’s rarest species.

Glengarry Half Day Safari

Expect sightings of black and red throated diver, scoter and widgeon, dragonflies and our native carnivorous plants and red deer and golden eagles

Glengarry Full Day Safari

As above, but you can also expect to see seals, porpoises, oyster catchers, herons and many other sea birds. You may also spot otters or, very occasionally, dolphins. Weather permitting you will land at Barrisdale in the middle of the great Knoydart wilderness.
