Make your journey come alive with our View from the Train audio guides and app – www.snh.gov.uk/train
View from the Train aims to enhance the experience of travellers on some of Scotland’s main rail routes. It is available for journeys from Edinburgh/Glasgow to Inverness, Edinburgh/Glasgow to Aberdeen and Glasgow to Oban and interprets the natural and cultural heritage seen from the train. Each journey contains around 10 audio clips, each about 4 minutes in length, which describe an aspect of the landscape, wildlife or history of the area you are travelling through. We hope that it will be of interest to visitors and regular travellers alike. View from the Train is available from www.snh.gov.uk/train in a range of formats: as an app for Apple and Android devices, as downloadable MP3 audio guides and also available as short films on our Youtube channel.
