Open Tuesday – Saturday, we offer a menu that reflects our surroundings – focusing on what’s growing in our garden, what we feel passionate about at the time and what we find whilst foraging.  We feel that in a sustainable way we are redefining the Highland experience – respecting nature, land and sea as well as our heritage and culture.

Advance bookings (maximum 6 guests) are essential.  Book online for 3 courses at 42.00 or our Tasting menu at 65.00 per person – please note the new 10:00pm closure will dictate which menu and time slot is available for you.   For more information please contact the hotel directly.  Special diets can be catered for with prior notification and whilst there is no children’s menu we can offer smaller portions for 3 courses at 30.00 per child.  For more details, contact us on 01456 490000 or info@thelovat.com as some times may vary throughout the seasons.

Dietary requirements need to be discussed prior to arrival as vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free diets require 24hrs notice and vegan diets require 1 weeks’ notice for a 3 course meal.

There is no children’s menu so smaller portions are available at 30.00 for 3 courses.

Cancellation Policy

The Lovat Loch Ness is a family-run business and our restaurant relies upon bookings being honoured by our guests or sufficient notice being given of any required changes to reservations.  We therefore kindly request that diners give us notification if a cancellation or an amendment is required.

All tables have until 10:00am on the day of the reservation to cancel or amend.  Thereafter, a charge of £50 per person will be made if the cancellation terms above are not met.  Sadly, our experience of parties failing to cancel or amend bookings dictates that this precaution is now necessary.

We will contact you a day or two prior to your reservation via telephone to confirm.  Unfortunately we are unable to hold unconfirmed reservations and by making a reservation at The Lovat Loch Ness you agree to our reservation and cancellation terms.
