Attending Christmas fairs and markets is a traditional part of this magical time. They happen all over Scotland, with the biggest ones being held in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The Scottish Highlands also have Christmas events and one of them is a Christmas Fair at Eden Court in Inverness from 7th December – 9th December 2018. The Christmas fair is organised by Exclusively Highlands.

Exclusively Highland is a family run business based on the Black Isle just to the North of Inverness.  They host events in unique and beautiful locations across Highland, Grampian and Perthshire and have a collective of some of the finest art craft and food producers from across Scotland.  This December, Exclusively Highlands will be bringing together over 100 of Scotland’s finest crafters and food producers to Eden court Inverness for the North of Scotland’s largest Art, Craft & Food Fair.  Eden itself will be beautifully dressed for Christmas and amidst the atmospheric venue exhibitors will be displaying their wares and bringing even more choice for the Christmas shopper.

New for 2018 will be an outdoor Marquee at the front of Eden Court which together with the Bishop’s Palace and the surrounding areas at Eden will give the visitors a fantastic choice of Scottish wares.  There will be a sumptuous range of patisseries, cakes, meats, cheeses, fudge, charcuterie, tablet, chocolates, preserves, seafood, gin, vodka, tea and coffee (blended but not grown in Scotland!). Find wonderfully unique collections of jewellery – silver, beaded, gemstone, glass & copper, Art, Stoneware, Clothing, Sculptures, Tweed accessories, Photography, Candles & Diffusers and not forgetting the wonderful skincare products from Puti and the Highland Craft Company, beautiful bespoke dog collars, harnesses and leads and handcrafted ceramics. – all goods lovingly handmade in Scotland.

It is free entry and Eden 1 will be supporting the charity Mikey’s Line and at Eden 2 The Highland Hospice.  There will be harp music in the palace area on the Sunday afternoon, there is adjacent parking and delicious refreshments available at the Eden Court Cafe/restaurant.
