Congratulations to our Employee of July.

Thomas

“quietly confident individual who works well by himself or in the team and nothing seems to phase him…funny sense of humour that customers really like and he can get the banter with them.  Thomas is quick to learn, effective at work and good at what he does on the floor.  Thomas knows what is needed to do the job – cracks on and he loves hoovering!  Oh yes and he started to help in HK which is appreciated!

What brought you to the Lovat? – Caroline’s passion and the opportunity to learn about an eco-conscious business

How long have you been at the Lovat, and what do you do? – I’ve been here for 2 months. I’m a waiter primarily, but what is most enjoyable is that I have had the opportunity to work in various areas.

What do you like to do in your spare time?  –  Socialise with colleagues and locals while learning about different cultures. Also adventuring in the local wilderness.

What is your favourite Scottish food? – Haggis, obviously. Anything fresh and ethical.

What would you recommend to guests as a ‘must see’ in the area? – The loch at dusk.

What 3 things can you not live without? – Fantasy, food, and water based drinks.

Well done Thomas!!

Other nominees:

Kayla – She’s had to really step up the last month, taking control whilst still learning the ropes herself..

Danny – Is doing really well and taking on more responsibilities, willing and uses his initiative.

Kasia – Cares about work, connecting well with her team members. Her skills and new ideas about work are great. Recycling for Kasia is very important and she is very strict when it comes to the environment. Loves walking and the outdoors – lovely girl. She has also adapted very well in her new job and improved a lot, now she is giving new bright ideas.

Zsuni –  Always asks questions and pushes the kitchen for the menu (!), helpful, bright and bubbly.
