Great Glen Way Challenge
Looking for a walking challenge? Want to experience the highs and lows of some tough terrain on foot or by bike? Fancy breathing in some beautiful fresh Scottish Highland air? Well – look no further than the Great Glen Way and sample some Loch Ness views that your camera just won’t do justice! The Great Glen Way is, for sure, a trail you’ll always remember.

The trail runs from Fort William, in the southwest, to Inverness in the northeast, covering 125 kilometres or 78 miles so this is not for the faint hearted!

You will pass our door along the way, so come and stay with us at your halfway point. You’ll be needing a good night’s sleep and we can certainly help with that. With a wide variety of rooms, you will certainly be cosy, however if you do decide to stay elsewhere then we would be delighted to welcome you to our Waypoint Bar or Brasserie for an evening meal. And, if you decide to camp then you’ll be needing some morning fuel to set you up for the day so we can also help with that – offering an awesome breakfast.
So…tackle the Great Glen Way this summer and you’ll be in for a treat. Here at The Lovat Loch Ness, we look forward to welcoming you.
